Dr. Marcus Ellwood is a structural engineer with over 22 years of experience in temporary structure design and large-scale tent engineering. Holding a PhD in Civil Engineering from Delft University of Technology, he has led the design and deployment of aluminum frame tent systems across more than 50 countries, spanning international trade fairs, disaster relief operations, and luxury outdoor events.

He serves as a technical advisor to several global tent manufacturers and has contributed to the development of European EN 13782 temporary structure standards. His work bridges precision engineering and real-world field deployment.
